Mica Strip
Mica strip heaters are an excellent choice for many heating applications.  Mica strip heaters can be configured in a wide range of sizes and with many types of lead options. Mica heaters are designed for long life in industrial settings.

Consider a Mica Strip heater for your application.  Consult Heatron and collaborate with our engineers to create heater solution for your application.

  • Inorganic Mica - Heatron uses 100 percent inorganic Mica as insulating material, eliminating potential carbon contaminates found in most Mica binding agents. This allows MAX2000 to operate at higher temperatures and watt densities.
  • High Torque Post Terminals - Standard post terminals feature unique post-weld construction, which allows the terminal to be over-tightened without damaging or severing the resistance wire post connection.
  • Custom Designed - MAX 2000 heaters can be custom made to fit your specific applications. Holes, cutouts and custom features are designed and manufactured at Heatron.
  • High Temperature Lead Wire - MAX2000 Mica insulated heaters feature 850°F (450°C) lead wire. This higher temperature rating prevents premature failure where the leads exit the heater.  Low temperature (250°C) lead wire available upon request.
  • Holes and Notches
  • Agency Approvals Include- UL, CSA, TUV, CE available for most configurations
