Why Heatron? |

- We process metal boards, not FR4. Heatron does not thermally overstress the LEDs and typically reflows at cooler temperatures and shorter times than the manufacturer’s recommended soldering profile. Our processes are tuned for metal boards and our knowledge base grounded in IMS (Insulated Metal Substrate) PCBs which have different reflow characteristics than FR4. LEDs can be easily stressed during reflow and the damage not become apparent until they are operating in the field. IMS is our business.

- We understand our customer’s product because we know LEDs inside and out. Our active involvement with your product from concept to design, to production builds a familiarity and understanding that can catch potential problems and provide solutions before they are produced and shipped.
- We have the most well developed binning system in the industry. Our customers depend on us to identify and separate CCT, brightness and sometimes voltage bins. Heatron personnel operate daily with this knowledge as standard practice. The number of available bins and LED manufacturers creates chaos with other assembly plants.
