Outdoor area lighting ranges in application from street lights to parking lots. This wide range of applications has differing levels of needs each addressed with multiple lighting fixtures. HP LEDs have changed how all of these are used and will continue to benefit those entities that install them. Highway lights are required to be very bright and diffuse across large areas of roadway. Smaller streets and sidewalks also require fixtures to be bright, but much more focused so 
as to not create too much light pollution in residential areas. HP LED fixtures have the diversity
to apply into both of these needs at a fraction of the size and power consumption of existing installations.
