New PolyMax™ Etched Foil Heater
Heatron Introduces New All Polyimide Heater – PolyMax™
Leavenworth, Kansas – July 15, 2011 – Heatron a leader specialized in custom design and manufacture of heating solutions introduces PolyMax™.
Initially designed for Semiconductor applications PolyMax™ can be used on different industries and markets where heated surface areas are required. The additional applications are electronic components, packaging equipment, medical diagnostic instruments. PolyMax™ is a viable option for the standard flexible polyimide heaters.
PolyMax™ etched foil heaters are factory installed or mounted to standard heat sinks. In this case chucks made of different materials (i.e.: Aluminum. SST, Ceramics). The etched foil heater trace is manufactured in our brand new etching process equipment. This new process equipment technology produces etched foils with an efficient thermal cycling of material samples. Uniform thermal performance of heating output is attained via the initial design custom profiling. Lightweight and thin etched foil heaters permits to concentrate the heat where it is needed optimizing the operating costs and increased throughput.
Heatron PolyMax™ has a heating temperature range up to 260 ºC (500 ºF). The maximum size that can be manufactured is 12” x 22” – check with Heatron applications group for larger sizes.
