Design Engineer

Location:        Leavenworth, Kansas
Employment Status: Full-time

Main Responsibilities

Utilize customer heater specifications and design heaters to meet requirements.  Use CAD system and heater design software to develop heater concepts.   Develop bill of materials, processs instructions, and enter into MRP system.  Design tooling to support manufacturing.  Develop concepts, including 3-D models to assist cutomer with product definition.  Establish stable processes that allow predictible labor standard. Support manufacturing by improving existing designs and increasing product quality, reducing losses, etc.

Key Qualifications

           Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred or Associate's degree with 3 or more years experience.

           Experience

• 0-3 years of Engineering experience
