Heatron boasts an experienced and technically competent management team. The Company’s management is efficient and entrepreneurial, and has been assembled to oversee product development, engineering, marketing, quality, customer relations and manufacturing.

H. B. Turner, President

H.B. has served as Heatron’s President since 2004. He has been with the company since 1982, having previously served as Executive Vice President, Vice President of Sales and Marketing and National Sales Manager, respectively, and has been one of the two largest Heatron stockholders since 1986. H.B. has successfully led Heatron’s corporate growth and profitability, strategic planning and acquisitions.

Through his leadership and vision, Heatron has grown from fewer than 20 employee associates in 1982 to its current size and position as an internationally recognized leader in the industry with more than 275 associates. H.B. continues to expand the company through innovative electric heating and solid state lighting solutions that impact our customers’ business results.

H.B. obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration & Economics, and a minor in Accounting, from Culver Stockton College, Cum Laude with Honors in 1979. H.B. lives with his wife and three daughters in Parkville, Missouri (outside of Kansas City). When he’s not working, he enjoys boating and has a love of sports, travel, and other family centered activities.

Robert H. Martter, Vice President, Erie Operations

Mr. Martter joined Heatron in 2002 with the acquisition of ECA Electronics (Erie, PA) by Heatron. He was the Executive VP and General Manager of ECA Electronics for 15 years prior to the acquisition and was in charge of all aspects of the operation. ECA Electronics was a subsidiary of American Trim LLC (1993-2002) and previously (1982-1993) a subsidiary of Ferro Corporation (NYSE: FOE).

Prior to that, Mr. Martter served for three years as Product Manager, Pigments with Ferro Corporation in Cleveland OH. Mr. Martter started his career with DuPont (NYSE:DD) and served in Project Engineering, Production Management and Sales positions over eight years with that company. In his capacity as VP, Erie Operations for Heatron, he is responsible for the three business units that are located in the Erie factory.

Mr. Martter has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Akron, Akron OH and a Masters in Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace College, Berea OH and has benefitted from numerous training programs provided by DuPont, Ferro Corp, American Trim and Heatron. Mr. Martter has contributed to and is listed as an inventor on several patents, mostly in the field of thick film electronics technology.

Laurie M. Boyd, Vice President, Finance

Ms. Boyd joined Heatron in 2002 and is responsible for overseeing all accounting and informational technology functions for the Company, including financial statement preparation and analysis, budgeting, fixed assets, payroll, and maintaining and implementing IT strategies.

Prior to joining Heatron, Ms. Boyd was the Accounting and Inventory Control Manager for Amarr Garage Doors in Lawrence, Kansas. Previous to that, she was the Accounting Manager for Werner Pipe Service, Inc. in Independence, KS. Ms. Boyd holds a BGS from Pittsburg State University.
