Assemblers perform tasks such as installing insulated wires into small parts, soldering, cutting and stripping leads. These individuals are responsible for running machines such as presses and cappers. The ability to use measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, and steel rules is required. Reliability and attention to detail is a must.

The Designer takes design input from Customers, Product Specialists, Manufacturing Engineers, and Production Associates and creates output documentation that manufacturing uses for building product. The Designer I must be organized to allow for handling multiple priorities. This individual must be familiar with the methods and processes used to construct the products they design and communicate issues effectively to sales and production.

Heatron's Leavenworth location is seeking an experienced machinist with the ability to set up CNC mills, program with “G” code, make tool changes, operate two CNC mills, and operate manual mills, lathes and grinders. The right candidate will be able to work from sketches and verbal instructions, create fixturing and tooling as needed, read blue prints and follow work instructions from work packets.

Responsible for issuing and tracking work orders, ensuring that required material is supplied to the production floor, as according to the production schedule, coordinate with Sales on lead time and engineering. Other responsibilities include expediting and prioritizing work orders and coordinating and managing weekly production schedule meetings.
