Assemblers perform tasks such as installing insulated wires into small parts, soldering, cutting and stripping leads. These individuals are responsible for running machines such as presses and cappers. The ability to use measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, and steel rules is required. Reliability and attention to detail is a must.

The Designer takes design input from Customers, Product Specialists, Manufacturing Engineers, and Production Associates and creates output documentation that manufacturing uses for building product. The Designer I must be organized to allow for handling multiple priorities. This individual must be familiar with the methods and processes used to construct the products they design and communicate issues effectively to sales and production.

Inside Sales Representative
The Inside Sales Rep (ISR) will perform daily sales and customer service activities related to Heatron customers in an assigned Regional geographic territory. The ISR will support sales activities of the Regional Sales & Business Development Manager (RSBDM) responsible for the sales in the territory, as well as contract Manufacturer’s Reps in the field. Backup support to the other Inside Sales Reps in other territories and the RSBDM from other territories will be required as directed by management and the needs of the business.

Ability to set up CNC mills. Ability to program with “G” code. Ability to make tool changes. Ability to operate two CNC mills. Ability to operate manual mills, lathes and grinders. Ability to work from sketches and verbal instructions. Ability to create fixturing and tooling as needed. Ability to read blue prints and follow work instructions from work packets.

Responsible for issuing and tracking work orders, ensuring that required material is supplied to the production floor, as according to the production schedule, coordinate with Sales on lead time and engineering. Other responsibilities include expediting and prioritizing work orders and coordinating and managing weekly production schedule meetings.

Designs, installs and evaluates quality assurance process sampling systems, procedures and statistical techniques. Designs or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment; analyzes production and service limitations and standards. Recommends revision of specifications when indicated. Formulates or helps formulate quality assurance policies and procedures. Might conduct training on quality assurance concepts and tools. Interfaces with all other engineering components within the company and with customers and suppliers on quality related issues.
