Our heaters are used throughout the security industry in both chemical detection devices, and also to prevent condensation and ice build-up on a camera lens.
You'll find our technologies in chemical detection devices, used to detect drug particles in the air. A liquid containing the substance of interest is placed on a flexible Teflon® surface and allowed to dry (Heater accelerates drying time), then the Teflon® RTM surface is rubbed onto an item that is to be tested for the presence of the substance of interest. The particles of the substance of interest are then transferred to the detector.
Our heaters are used to prevent condensation and ice build-up on a camera lens, and you’ll also find our technologies in chemical detection devices, used to detect drug particles in the air. The crystal clear versions are used over displays to keep them operating in extreme temperatures.
